The applicator is kinda cheap so I just used a Q-tip instead. I also bought the oxidant 3% liquid to mix and it all worked out great. I have grey brows - mixed dark ash and white. My hair is dyed blonde. It works very quickly (start with less than recommended 5 minutes to test) and covers really well. I'm a perfectionist and would prefer a cooler shade of light brown. Strangely, I find that the first day after tinting my brows I always think it didn't cover well enough, then - over the next few days - it seems to darken slightly. What I ordered originally did not come with the developer. But I bet you're smart enough to figure out that "kit" means w/ developer. They never lasted. Seems grey (and eyebrow hair) is extra coarse and doesn't take to dyeing. I though Refectocil Eyelash and Eyebrow Tint being a "Professional" product would be the answer. Sad to say it wasn't. the color lasted maybe a week and the light brown came out very dark and on my fair skin that wasn't a plus.I guess modern technology hasn't overcome the grey eyebrow hair dilemma yet, sad to say. I read reviews on other colors of this product line and some said they didn't get the developer with it..so I bought a bottle of it and come to find out you do get the developer in the box with the tint. So now I have two bottles of low volume developer that will probably just get tossed in the trash as they obviously don't help the color to 'take'. |
